Dairy Antimicrobial Focus Report 2024

The fourth annual Dairy Antimicrobial Focus Report not only provides an in-depth analysis of antimicrobial usage in dairy herds in the UK, but this year combines forces with Dairy Manager costings service data, to answer the question: as the dairy industry reduces its antimicrobial usage, are we seeing an increase in mortality, culling, or disease rates?

This report collates data from 879 herds using our Antimicrobial Monitoring Service along with 121 veterinary practices and contains analysis on the types of antimicrobials used in the dairy sector, and how that is changing over time, including dry cow therapy, injectable products and oral preparations.
